Pink Sands Studio is an independent press, project space and the studio of artists Roxy Topia & Paddy Gould.
The press creates bespoke books in collaboration with friends, artists and writers. These vary from illustrated psychedelic poetry to interviews that focus on an artist's work and practice. Features take in expanded ideas of pattern and desire. Social ritual, cognitive behavioural patterns, ornament, component-based design, visual art etc. Pink Sands is in print and online, done to our own schedule in Birkenhead.
Pink Sands attempts to work with enough time to take in the natural life that grows around our areas of interest, looking for wisdom from non-practitioners, practitioners and experts with the attitude that many people who don't speak often also have plenty to say.
